Lavender Blanc Cocktail

Happy 2016! The holidays were a blast but if you are at all like us, you maybe feeling the need to hit the reset button right now. In an effort to regain a sense of balance we try to keep our drinks light and not quite as numerous in January. Wine, homebrew or simple low-alcohol bevies are our go-to choices.

This Lavender Blanc Cocktail is very refreshing and barely boozy, so it really is a perfect drink for this time of year. You could also play around with the bitters if you felt inclined (we got this set as a Christmas gift and are excited to try them all!).

Lavender Blanc Cocktail (recipe from Imbibe)

  • 1 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 3/4 oz Dolin Blanc vermouth
  • 1 dash Scrappy’s Lavender Bitters
  • Fever Tree Naturally Light Tonic Water
  • Garnish: lime slice and/or lavender sprig

Add the Lillet, vermouth and bitters to a lowball glass. Fill with ice and stir with a barspoon. Top with ice, stir and garnish. Cheers!
